Phil, my last question has to do with the data and curves derived while calibrating the prsp. I noticed that using Tmax100 Ilford DD-X 1+6 I was able to fairly easily arrive @ the 2.4 speed point. However I also noticed that the dev/SBR chart derived from this data gave development recommendations that were quite(40%) lower than recommendations for dev tmax 100 in DD-X 1+6 from other charts i've seen including the ones on the film library disc. Could this be because one is using only 3 sheets of film at 4/8/16mins instead of the five film sheet standard test ? In other words even though I used tmax100 and ddx 1+6 for calibrating the prsp should I now do the five sheet test with the same materials to get accurate development charts for that combination if i intend on using Tmax100 and DD-x?    |
