Yes, the calibrated test "iso" point is valid for all film tests provided the exposure for each film type is adjusted to compensate for its assigned ISO value. In other words, if you're testing a nominal 100- speed film and a test exposure of 1/2 sec @ f/11 is satisfactory, then you can test a 400-speed film satisfactorily with an exposure of 1/2 sec @ f/22. If the two film types are honestly rated their curve families will occupy the same location in the graph space. |
