Greetings All,
I have noticed when reading through some of Phil Davis' articles that much reference is made to an ES of 1.0 approximating a "grade 2" paper. I have looked back at all my graded paper data and my variable contrast paper test data for a #2 filter and I find ES that typically are in the range of 0.94-0.96. At least for me, ES values of 1.00 and above seem to be associated with #1 or #1.5 filters or Grade 1 paper. Is anyone else having this same experience or is it a matter of simple differences in the way we all do our testing?? |
