I number the tubes to keep organized and since there will be 5 or 6 tubes at a time being log rolled I might as well get the accuracy that is built into this method of working. Depending on the developer 30sec more than what was called for with 100tmax with constant (rolling) agitation could push highlights a bit out there. With staining developers of course less of a worry in my limited experience. I don't have a jobo but I understand they are nice  . John Sexton calls the tubes "the poor man's Jobo"
