The f/11 aperture setting (for ISO 100 films) is not cast in stone but it's a good target value because it allows adjustment for ISO 25 films (at f/5.6) and ISO 400 films (at f/22). To focus or not focus? Go with whichever provides the most uniform illumination. Just be sure you can repeat it; the important thing is consistency. |
