Just doing my first BTZS film test and have hit a problem analyzing the curves (FP4+ in ID-11 1+1 - nothing exotic). I am finding my calculated IDmin values (3rd edition: Chapter 7, "Analyzing Films Curves" section) coming out at only 0.01 to 0.03 above fb+f which seems very low. My curves look OK (as far as I can tell) when plotted on Excel (and by hand) - increasing fb+f and slope as development time increases; straight-line part of the curves spaced apart as shown in the book.
Any ideas why IDMin is coming out so low - I realise it's difficult without watching over my shoulder to figure out where I went wrong, but I'm just hoping it's a known error...
Thanks, Bob. |
