I dont know if you can be "sure". You have done all you can I suppose. The thing is, that with only two values you are not sure the response of the densitometer is linear. You should have at least 3 values, 0, middle value (maybe 1.5) and high value. Besides, how do you know your 3 values is correct? This calibration standards can fade with time, and it seems yours is fairly old, I would check this first. If your standard is only transmitting 2.7 and you are calibrating the densitometer to read 3 when it shoud be reading 2.7, then you are a stop off, since your zero would be fine but your high readings would be a stop off, then you would be underdeveloping according to the readings. |
