Yesterday I made prints for a portfolio with two series of negatives. One was made before I know the btzs principles, one with the btzs principles (both in 135, bw stage and open air concert photos) I remarked once more, that’s much more difficult to make good prints with the old ones. I needed all darkroom magic (flashing, fogging, splitgrade burning, dodging) just for to have prints, that pleased me. Because the days before btzs I was used to develop to a too high G-value, so that the highlights are difficult to print. The final result was more or less the starting point with the btzs negatives and the magic is left for the additional expression.

BTW: Thank you Phil for this forum. It’s nice to have a pace to discuss the btzs.
