I use a Bessler enlager with a 80mm Rogonar lens at f/8. Height of enlarger is 13 - 3/4". Light source is an Aristo cold light head. I need an EV of 3 to get my Delta 100 to fall in at 2.4 for my PSP. These of course will be different for other people but that is how I got mine to work. Also, my timer is set to .4 second. Worked like a champ.
When I started out in BTZS the only real problem I encountered was the spinning of the tubes. I was to aggressive and was getting erroneous results. I think Jorge struggled with that at first as well. As far as the whole BTZS concept goes, I really don't quite fully get the hows and whys and that bugged me at first but I ended up just being happy I could do the initial film and paper testing and then make the best images I have ever produced. |
