Phillipe,
I have lived for some time on a staple diet of FP4+, HP5+, DDX, Multigrade Warmtone and various other Ilford lines. This out of preference after comparing what their offerings achieved in comparison to others.
Well, just as I write I have been labelling some new comparative negs I have shot on the new Tri-X (320 TXP) - which I have to say that I prefer immensely over the previous Tri-X - and FP4+. Not only did I compare the two films, but also DDX and Rodinal, continuous agitation with the DDX in a Jobo Expert Drum and intermittant in 2509N reels in deep jugs for the Rodinal. later today I intend to do some prints and I'll see what I can best live with.
As for paper, wellI'm not keen on the surface or weight of Agfa Classic. Kodak Polymax Fine Art is nice but very different to what I've been using, Tetenal have some interesting papers ... but that is the next level of the research. Film first.
