If you are using the plotter then I suggest you read Phil's article on the PSP which is in this same forum. I beleive you still need the speed triangle to determine where your PSP falls on the scale. The reason you are calibrating is very well explained in Phil's article.
I think a lot of your questions will be answered once you read the article. In other words, you first make a test run comparing your test strip exposures and development against what Phil has obtained, if your tests fall in line with what Phil provides in the file library then you know you have a base line that provides you an accurate result. You can now do personal tests knowing your strip exposures and devlopment method are calibrated. |
