FP4 Plus in DD-X+6 is a reasonable standard combination. Alternatively, if you don't have any DD-X, rate FP4 at ISO 100 when you do your tests and develop in ID-11+1. Use this combination to establish your 2.4 speed point. Then, to check the results, re-rate FP4 at its published speed (ISO 125) and re-run the Plotter (no need to repeat the test). This time you should see the speed point located close to 2.3. But this is simply indicating a speed loss of 1/3 stop, which is appropriate for this film/dev combo; your PSP is actually 2.4, not 2.3.
