Steve: Sounds like your experiment worked just fine. But let me say something here. When you use your spot meter to read a subject,why be concerned with zones? After all what we're looking for is the DIFFERENCE between the hi and lo (lo being what we decide for shadow detail)to determine the SBR. Perhaps the subect is rather flat with 1 SBR. In the final analysis, you have to print the subject to make it interesting. Ben |
