Filtering the enlarger light is a good idea in theory because it helps to approximate the "official" test conditions a bit more closely; but in practice the "improvement" is minimal and insignificant.
I''d suggest doing it for ortho film testing if you can afford the light loss but otherwisie don't bother. |
