No direct experience but I wonder if things have changed since the test were run. Phil did the reciprocity tests which drives Plotter over 10 years ago now. I know Kodak films have been re-formulated since then (but luckily reciprocity seems consistent).
It was not unusual for Phil's tests to contradict the manufacture's recommendations but he also always said that things should be field-tested and adjusted as needed.
You might give Fred Newman a call and see what here's heard/witnessed from other users.
