Phil: Back in august of 1991 I bought the Dos Plotter and Matcher programs (on a 5-inch floppy, remember those?), and have been using it on my old slow dos machine off and on for the past 12 or 13 years. I like the old dos programs, because they don't use so much space as the new Windows programs.
I still have the 5 inch disk, and although it says it has only 1.2 megs of data, it will not copy onto a 1,4 meg 3-inch floppy, so I can convert it into my new Win XP computer. Assumming I copy all the files on to two disks, and then copy these into my new computer, will the execution programs run? Or if I just copy the working files from my old computer into the new one, will that work?
