If you never add contrast agents while doing pt/pd you must already have a film expose and developement protocol that is very consistent... I have been using the NA2 method and have noticed that from an aesthetic point of view, even as little as 1 drop of 10% chloroplatinate mattered and in some prints that little bit was the differenc between between "normal" and really great. BTZS is very good at returning very repeatable results. Once you have gotten it down you will not need other benchmarks...IMHO
