 simply put "BTZS group" on flickr is not another "BTZS website"...
 flickr is almost certainly the best online photo management and sharing.
 a "flickr group" is simply "another thing"!
 The dwindling number of posts is not significant because posting is not a zero sum game.
 the two sites are not in competition but can only gain by cross reference...
 
 Elliot, frankly I think the hypertextual approach  is more powerful than the old linear one and that this approach will produce a usefull synergy (from the Greek word syn-ergos, συνεργός, meaning "working together").
 probably the Hypertextual approach is "the reinvention of the wheel" in the communication systems!
 sometimes it's necessary to reinvent the wheel...
