I don't know what answer you found here but here's something I suggested directly to another forum member (I should have posted it). Perhaps it will work for you:
This might be a satisfactory work-around: create a new step tablet file in the Plotter, using just 21 of the 31 steps. I’ll suggest this selection for starters:
31-steptablet New 21-steptablet

This should provide good accuracy in the curves’ important toe and shoulder region and the mid-range expansion should be very acceptable. Just be sure to match your test data densities with the correct tablet steps! |
