It's nice to see some more of Sam's circular silver gelatin images. I've always been fascinated with the circular image concept. I assume Sam exposed these with a 90 mm Angulon on 8x10 film. I mention this because i think this is the setup that Kerik Kouklis used for his circular images which can be viewed at http://kerik.com.
