Keith --
The answer has to be "yes, but..." The BTZS workshop, which covers the testing and metering procedures requires darkroom space and we don't, at the moment, have one available.
The so-called "alumni" workshop is for people who have taken the BTZS session, or worked through all the technical stuff from the book. That doesn't demand as complete a facility although we still have to develop film.
We have, on occasions, run a "beginner's" workshop for roll film shooters who want to try working with view cameras before spending a lot of money on their own equipment. Whether any workshops will be offered this summer depends on our finding a suitable place to work, and getting a enough prople signed up to make it feasible.
The workshops are sponsored by Fred Newman who owns The View Camera Store in Phoenix. If you'd like registration information, contact him at fred@viewcamerastore.com. If you'd like more specific information about workshop content, let me know. |
