To all photographers:
The 2011 First Annual Phil Davis Memorial Photo Retreat is open to all photographers - both analog and digital.
The location of the photo retreat is Death Valley. We will hold the photo retreat in a different location each year.
This photo retreat is designed to remember our friend and mentor Phil Davis. We will be photographing every day. Don't forget your incident meter. Phil loved his incident system.
The only requirement for attending is a $50 check made out to the "American Cancer Society". This is not a workshop - so there are no other fees.
The photo retreat dates are: Tuesday 12/6/2011 to Tuesday 12/13/2011. We will meet for dinner on the first night 12/6 and go over the schedule for the week. On Tuesday 12/13 the retreat will end. That will give us six days of photographing. We will be photographing at a different location each morning and afternoon. We will also be doing night photography. So if you haven't done BTZS film testing, please contact me for help. Phil and I always did night photography at every workshop.
Since this is not a workshop, but a photo retreat, you can't attend for as many days as you can.
