I missed david's post and just read it. I think lifting the limit is important. I think it is important to realize a film's ability from N+2 to at least N-3 and occasionally N-4. Even if doing that requires say two families of curves at two different dilutions. I also believe as time passes more people will realize the power of Phil's test methods and perform them. Then more people will want the expanded range. Actually I'll bet lifting the 21 step limit would not be that hard. The math does not change only the parameters - please correct me if I am wrong!

You have to admit that buying the software for convenience and then still having to hand-draw the curves for additional data is a bite in the *@#!

Still none the less I'll probably pick it up for the convenience of having the program do a bunch of the work. Maybe you should consider upgrades.
