Tmax and acros are great choices , the developers mentioned already are great . I use TMAX-RS 1+9 as my go to no nonsense developer . You just put the 2 parts together and dilute to you standard, 1+7 or 1+9 . If you have the iPhone app and BTZS tubes and tray already you can sort of get a good "taste" of what's to come by looking at the btzs youtube videos and give it a shot. Then you can go back and do all the testing to "fine " tune your process. I did the testing for my 2 films TMX and TMY in Tmax-rs and Xtol . However when I want to try other combos I simply load the files produced by Phil davis and I am still astonished at how precise the negatives come out ... |
