I'm working through my film and paper tests to load into WinPlotter. I've encountered a few pitfalls along the way. This includes an (apparently) uncalibrated kodak step tablet that has a range of 11.5 stops and spot meter that was amplifying the density readings.
I've sent the spot meter for calibration. In the meantime I started experimenting with light meter software for the iPhone (myLightMeter PRO). It seems to be fairly accurate. It is showing a density range of 10.3 stops through my B&W 3.0 ND filter.
I'm wondering if anyone else has experimented with using the iPhone as densitometer?
